Friday, September 3rd

Friday, September 3rd

Class Hours: 9:40 – 2:05
Mr. Cronin

Notes

  • It’s Friday! Everyone enjoy your long weekend – we start back up on Tuesday of next week.
  • We have yet another instance of Covid in the building… Everyone has to continue to have the masks on correctly, we have done a real good job in CAWD, let’s continue.
  • Remember you can get Blender at home for free – just install Google Drive (free) to access your work.
  • I am 99% sure you can also use your EWSD email and password to get all of the Adobe software at home as well – someone give it a shot at home? You will login, then download the programs, we pay for them.
  • Our 3 projects will be presented to the class at the start of next week. As we don’t have a Monday, it will be on Tuesday. What is due at the start of next week? (Scroll down to PM Production)
  • Of all the days to take your water bottles – today is the day.

10:10 Impress me

As a quick before and after exercise after our lesson, go to Unsplash and find and download your own photo to work on. It doesn’t have to be a car. I want you to do some adjustments and “make it look cool”. I am going to come around at 10:25 or so and see your before/after.

Once I check you off, you move onto Farm / Agency / DH production.

  • 10 Minutes outside / just out our door.
  • Throw the Frisbee, toss the football, kick the kickball, or just get some Vitamin D and not be at a desk.

To be honest at this point in the week I don’t really care which CAWD project you are working on:

  • Farm – Blender, I can help, maybe you don’t have Blender at home yet…
  • Agency – Blender, I can help, again, maybe you don’t have Blender at home yet…
  • DH2 – Free sketch you could draw anywhere, home, the bus, the moon, History, Chemistry, etc.

So long as you are being creative, productive, and engaged – the time is yours.

12:15 Lunch (30 Minutes)

  • You are welcome to return to the room when you have finished eating and work / hang out.
