Thursday, January 13th

Thursday, January 13th

Class Hours: 9:40 – 2:05
Mr. Cronin

Notes

  • Thursday!
  • Remember that we have two projects this week:
    • Reef Animation
    • DH19: City from Above in 3 PT Perspective
    • Due to our “Cold” day – both are going to be due on Wednesday January 19th at the start of class.
  • To help scaffold our workflow for our Reef Animation, our Dailies will be the following for the next 3 days for credit – and to relax at 1:30:
    • Today by 1:25 – a 10 second rendered clip at 1080p with sound (any edited clip)
    • Tomorrow by 1:25 – a 30 second rendered clip at 1080p with sound (any edited clip)
    • Tuesday by 1:25 – a 40 second rendered clip at 1080p with sound (any edited clip)
  • If you don’t have these in the folder on the public by 1:25 today for presentations, you will use 1:30 to EOD to get this in – have to have it in by 2pm for credit. Same for Friday. Same for Tuesday. We are going to use these benchmarks as ratchets that enable us to make incremental progress over time, and achieve a successful “A” presentation to the class Wednesday morning.
  • On Wednesday we will be grading each others work in a “CAWD Film Festival” model where you vote with stars. 5 Stars = top tier. 1 star = ? Remember that you are trying to lure a partner for Skills Design competitions! Build your brand – only you can do it.
