Tuesday, April 5th

Class Hours: 9:40 – 2:05

Notes

  • 2 production days until the State Design Competitions!
    • Make sure you have clothing ready for Thursday. Business casual.
    • Remember the schedules – the doors will be open here at 7AM or so for you to cram.
    • Talk to 7/8 teachers early about getting out of your … 7/8 – we just don’t know the order of the presentations on Thursday. We have to be ready for anything.
    • Resume’s – Need it today by lunch. No CAWD1 student goes to lunch until I have them all.
  • Some teams did GREAT yesterday in our Round 1 Mock Presentations. Some of you did not. Revamp today. Round 2 of Mock Presentations are tomorrow morning.
  • Mr. Bohmann just found out he has Covid and is out this week. As you know is he is the contest manager for 3 Skills events (Game / Web / Animation). Right now we are pivoting as best we can, and there is a chance (29%) that Game Design judging is moved up to TOMORROW. Same times, you arrive at 9:40 as normal. Be ready to pivot and adapt like the rest of us. Welcome to real life.
