- Capstone presentations on Thursday morning!
- We are going to have two presentations by Bevins today to practice his Pin Design Presentation, today at 11:55, and today at 1:20. We will give him notes and feedback after each. Bevins has to give this presentation tomorrow morning, so he needs to rehearse. Bevins be ready at 11:55!
- Mrs. Curtis is going to come in and finish up Accuplacer with selected students, we have to remain silent for them while taking it.
- Emmy may come in as well to do Web Dev signup last looks – not sure about this.
- Thanks for good day with sub yesterday seemingly, only 1 student marked off for being off task most of the day.
- Anyone with extra programs (Substance?) that needs to be setup on this machine, let’s do it today. Anyone that needs to get a 3rd person game setup on this machine, let’s do it today. If 2 of 5 minute presentation is opening or creating a project, you will not do well in that graded component.

Remember:
- There are multiple deliverables. Make sure Thursday at 9:40 you are 100% ready to go.
- This is a very large grade – 3X. Give it the time it requires to get the “A”.
When I am grading I use a pretty typical grading scale, A’s are reserved for excellent work. If you want that “A”, you have to do excellent work on all of the components:
- Create a 60 second time-lapse utilizing your new skills at 1080p in the program using OBS.
- Demonstrate a logical final product (mp4, jpgs, etc).
- Create and present a 5 minute presentation where we watch you demo live the new tool / technique / program. You are the teacher now using the lead computer.
You have to be comfortable with your content, the new tool, the new technique, so that you can get up on the lead machine and demonstrate your new skills. Don’t forget to practice that component over and over. Being able to communicate in the real world is sometimes more important that what you can actually DO.
