This morning leading up to lunch I want to review some of the tablet and blending modes work that we were working on before vacation. We had practiced the idea of painting over drawings and then using blending modes to change how the layers interacted, or blended together. We used a cartoon link to do this before vacation.

Today I want you to take one of your own sketches and independently do the same task:

Paint colors over the different elements of your sketch. Label your layers!
Use different blending modes (depending on the color and the shading below) to get the look and feel you want to have.
Export as a jpg.

On the public drive today is a folder called “tuesdayBlendingModeReview”. By 12:10 today place a .jpg in that folder called “lastName.jpg”.

By lunch today the entire class will have demonstrated this effect by digitally painting over one of their own sketches with our tablets, and using blending modes to create an interesting final output.
