- Skating today! We leave a 1:10! Turning off computers, cleaning our stations, bringing everything with us – we are dismissed from the Rink at 2.
- Today is a “White” day – no CTE academics. Callbacks:
- Noble, Murray, Jasper, Schuyler, Cyprien, Lamotte, Jackie and Lance to English @ 11:10 (M112).
- Jasper to Math @ 12:45.
- Certain EHS students leave today at 11:55 for lunch.
- Today we will have a visitors from Winooski High School from 10:35-11:05. Remember the workflow:

10:20 CAWD Web / Web Dev Assignment: Flexbox Webpage
This week your Web Dev project is going to be open ended in terms of information, but specific in terms of technical requirements.
Content Requirements:
- The topic is 100% up to you. Could you use this for another class? Do you want to feature Team Fortress 2 hats? Do you like Gravy? How about your SkillsUSA competition? Whatever, just hit the technical requirements.
Technical Requirements:
- Single html page
- All styles in external CSS
- Use Arial as the font or a Google hosted font, but it has to be Sans Serif
- Use a header at the top that contains your <h1>
- Use of 5 images, all the same size.
- Use of center floating layout. All content inside of <main> element that has a width and margin of 0 auto.
- Use 5 <section> tags for each subsection, or “floor” of the website. I want a paragraph and an image side by side. The text itself can be Lorem Ipsum, copy and pasted from a website, or your own words. This is where you will use display:flex – on the <section> element, to have an image on one side, and a paragraph on the other.
- Valid html code.
- Alt tags complete, expressive title tag, and attractive colors.
Create a folder called “flexbox“. Inside will go your index.html, your images folder and images, and your css folder and style.
This is due the Wednesday we return from vacation, Wednesday March 2nd.
