- As a class we need to please do better being ready to go at attendance, both AM and PM. I am not going to harass people to get out of games, off foosball, out of VR when its 9:40 / 12:45. You will just be considered late. Some of us this is no issue. Others ….
- We have to keep the desktops the way they are until Friday morning. This means:
- Watson mushroom
- Single folder
- And on Thursday we have to log out of services for one more night.
- We have visitors from Milton High School today. Remember the workflow:
- Visitor Info Form
- Show off 3 favorite / best projects
- Teach them something, how to DO something, some hands on practice.
- Let them see you working on current projects.
- Students working with Visitors:

11:35 CAWD / Web Dev Project: 6 Places to live
This week we are going to dovetail off our English content and use house/apartment hunting after high school as our medium to practice our web design content. Let’s assume we are all going to rent right out of high school.
You need to find 6 places to live. 5 of the places you find are required to be in Chittenden County, the final 6th place is required to be out of state.
Content Requirements:
- Find 5 places to rent in Chittenden County and one place out of state.
- For each apartment / house:
- Label with an H1
- Use a paragraph to present the address
- Get an image of it
- Use a paragraph to describe the housing (right from their website)
- Create an unordered list with some of the amenities.
- Use a paragraph to present the rent.
- Each “option” for living needs to be consistent with the other 5.
Technical Requirements:
- Valid code
- Incorporate H1’s and H3’s at a minimum.
- All styles in external style sheet (.css) file in “css” folder – no styles in your html!
- All images the same size, saved in “images” folder
- Use of a Sans Serif font for the page – Arial as an example
Create a folder called “housing” and a file called “index.html”.
12:15 Lunch (30 Minutes)
- No food in the room / eat in the Cafe.
- You are welcome to return to the room when you have finished eating and work / hang out.
