Class Hours: 9:40 – 2:05
Mr. Cronin
Notes
- Friday!
- I just want to say thank you again to everyone that helped out with visitors yesterday. While yes I assigned you work, and yes you got “paid” for it with extra credit – you all did a solid job. We shared of our existence with others, and created a good experience. Thank you.
- Mr. Mackenzie’s Algebra class is canceled today, you will stay in CAWD for 7/8 and help your team complete the Team Game Environment!
Second Semester College Credit Options CAWD
The Vermont State College System / VT Department of Ed has determined that the Web Design half of CAWD is the equivalent of 3 college credits in “CIS 1151 – Website Development“.
Our college level work is baked into the class. You will be doing the college work as a student in CAWD. There is no additional work. The only choice you have now is:
- I want to offically sign up through the Fast Forward program in Vermont and early college credits and grade through CAWD.
- … or …
- I just want to take this class as a high school student.
Benefits to earning college credit:
- You are doing the work anyway and plan to get an A, B, or C on your projects. (Not Design Homeworks, Not T&E, Not Agency, but CAWD Projects)
- You can start earning college credit in HS, separate yourself from your peers.
Reasons to not sign up for the college credit:
- You are unsure about the topic / unsure if you will do well.
- You are just about keeping it real right now, looking good, maxing and relaxing and you aren’t interested in starting to build your college GPA. Let me tell you about my experience with the “History of the Ancient Greeks“.
