Class Hours: 9:40 – 2:05
Mr. Cronin
Notes
- Thursday!
- I heard we had some people walking around and socializing, some video games being played, etc – so remember that the expectation when I am out is that we are all doing work and presenting our brand well. Due to the extra time it seemed we had I am going to move up our 3rd draft pin submission today from 10:05 to 9:50 – I guess we had enough time!
- Need any missing work for the 2nd quarter by Friday at 2! That is in 29 hours! All missing work that was uploaded to the public has been graded. Everyone should log in and check your gradebook!
- Brennan – I need that Blick list and want to go over the options for the rear wall redesign sooner than later – how about Friday afternoon?
- More free college options for the spring semester. If you are interested see me and we can connect you with Emmy / the powers that be.

11:35 CAWD Project: Fish Rigging / Swimming animation tests
In our CAWD Project this week we are going to:
- Rig our main fish – our star
- Rig at least one secondary fish to use as a secondary actor in our story / background actor
… and then …
Create an animation which includes:
- 10 seconds of main fish swimming
- 10 seconds of secondary fish swimming
This file will be 20 seconds long for full credit.
Viewport rendering is fine for this project as we care about the animation – not the final look and feel of lighting and shadows. We can render through the viewport in material preview, shaded (heck Eevee may be fast enough).
Call your file “(lastName)FishAnimationTests.mp4”.
Share fish with each other, or model a new secondary character fish.
12:15 Lunch (30 Minutes)
- No food in the room / eat in the Cafe.
- You are welcome to return to the room when you have finished eating and work / hang out.
