Thursday, January 26th

Thursday, January 26th

Class Hours: 9:40 – 2:05
Mr. Cronin

Notes

  • Thursday!
  • Vote for the pins! As a pseudo-politician I would ask that you vote for CAWD pins so that YOU get all the opportunities that come from the next round of the competition. I want YOU all in the room to get the benefits.
  • During English today we will have a sub AND the CAWD2 students will be working in the back of the room as we are hosting another event in CAWD2. It will be weird, just roll with it.

9:40 Attendance and Article and video

9:45 CAWD Project: Reef Animation First Cut

Check back to the Monday Dayplan for specifics.

Remember for full credit you have to have:

  • The ENTIRE story rendered / edited. We will present your Story Arc before we watch and assess your First Cut.
  • Sound Design included / don’t forget.

We want to give constructive criticism and feedback, but we have to see it. We can’t give feedback on what we don’t see.

10:35 Morning Break (10 minutes)

  • 10 Minute break – you have to exit the room.
  • When the door near the TV is open, you are welcome to come back in.

10:45 English

11:35 CAWD Project: Reef Animation First Cut

12:15 Lunch (30 Minutes)

  • No food in the room / eat in the Cafe.
  • You are welcome to return to the room when you have finished eating and work / hang out.

12:50 A Gentleman in Moscow

  • Follow along as I read; lose yourself in a story for a bit.
  • One of the strengths of this book are “beautifully rendered scenes“. You will be creating art based off of the text. Listen attentively.

1:10 Afternoon Break (10 minutes)

  • 10 Minute break – you have to exit the room.
  • When the door near the TV is open, you are welcome to come back in.
