Wednesday, Janurary 11th

Wednesday, Janurary 11th

Class Hours: 9:40 – 2:05
Mr. Cronin

Notes

  • Wednesday! Today is a “White” day. No CTE Academics. Callbacks:
    • Aiden to science @ 12:45
  • MHS students have their early release at 1:25.
  • Today will be a little different:
    • 5 visitors will be … visiting us from other programs from 10-10:30.
      • Brodey
      • Jered
      • Finn
      • Jerry
      • King
        • Remember the process:
          • Form
          • Brag about 3 of your “best” projects
          • Show hands on how to do something – how about rig something basic?
    • Emmy will be coming in to continue to test / sign up students to earn college credit in CAWD. Did you give up on the Accuplacer / WorkKeys as it was annoying? This is your second chance – take advantage of it. Talk to Emmy when she arrives to set you up.
    • Around our visitors and our testing / signups we will be working on our second draft of our Pins. I will be giving you a printed out copy of your pin with some notes. Use today to fix. We are presenting on Thursday morning.
    • Around signing up for college credit / visitors / pins, you should have Blender rendering your reef animation.
  • Today’s AM work session is a great time to get all missing work turned in!
  • Ben you have an early dismissal at 1:30 today.
  • If you want to render overnight, just let me know before you leave so I don’t power down your machine and take points from your T&E!

9:40 Attendance and Article

9:45 Pin Design Second Drafts / Emmy / Rendering

This morning you are going to be in Illustrator creating the second draft of your SkillsUSA Pin Design.

I am going to give feedback on a piece of paper.

Call your revised pin “(lastName)PinDraft_2.jpg” – make sure you export for screens. For now keep the file in your “week_18” folder.

Tomorrow morning we are going to upload these 2nd drafts to a specific folder on the public @ 9:45 and present our 2nd drafts to the class. We are looking to see you take feedback and improve your designs.

Around this you will be:

  • working with a visitor
  • signing up for college credits
  • setting up renders of your Reef
  • turning in missing work
