Enjoy your 4 day weekend! Use the time at home work work on our CAWD work due on Monday, or any missing work.

9:45 Step Up Day Setup

Tomorrow each of us will have CAWD class of 2024 applicant at their station. We need to do 3 things today:

Protect our own data / accounts
Setup computers to work with visitors
Demo to Mr. Cronin Blender / Unreal / VS Code / Windows

Part 1: Protect our own data / accounts

Before you leave for the day make sure you have:

logged out of email
logged out of steam
logged out of discord / reddit / social media

Part 2: Setup computers to work with visitors

Clean all icons off the desktop
Copy the folder called “Step Up Day” to the desktop – this will be the only element left on the desktop
Make sure the background is the mushroom
Change your theme back to “normal” – Jered / Logan / Sparky?

Part 3: Demo to Mr. Cronin Blender / Unreal / VS Code

Open all 3 programs. Raise your hand, show me the programs open, I will check you off.

Show me Blender Open
Show me Unreal Open (and have that you have have it pinned to the taskbar)
Show me VSCode Open
Shoe me your file viewer and that it looks “standard default Windows“

When this is complete – let’s quietly get into production time! This is a gift!

When all 3 parts are complete, you can move on to production time. Production time should be used for:
