- Today is an EHS early release. Certain EHS students will leave for lunch at 11:55.
- Today at 10AM we have a survey that you signed up with Emmy last week for. I have been told it won’t take long.
- Not this Thursday, but NEXT Thursday 10/6 CTE has their Program Open House from 6pm-7:30pm. Make sure you get off work, and tell your family and friends early. It is a drop in session, come in, show off your work, meet the teachers, and head out for your 4 day weekend. Remember you only get a 4 day weekend if you and your family come to Open House!
- Anyone scared of the zeros in their gradebook? Get the missing work in today and you only have 1 letter grade off. Tomorrow 2 letter grades off, and so on, with a maximum grade of a 50 if turned next Monday or beyond. How do you submit late work in CAWD?
- Complete the project as originally assigned.
- Create folder in public with your last name.
- Upload work there, and tell me you have submitted late work. You don’t tell me, I don’t grade it.
- Thanks to Richard Peters for starting off our food drive! I am going to hunt through my closet soon and find some non-perishable, non-expired food soon.

11:20 CAWD Project: Bedroom
Today we will start digital creation of our Bedroom. We all have our digital pre-production to work off of as a blueprint / reference image.
This will be a 2 week project. This week (Week 5) we are looking for a solid first draft. The first draft should include:
- 80% of the modeling
- 80% of the texturing
In Week 6 we are going to ask that you hear the feedback given and improve your project. Next week will be spent:
- Finalizing modeling
- Finalizing texturing
- Rendering / Compositing / Post-production
Remember that next next Thursday night (in 8 days) is our CAWD Open House where we invite you, your family, and friends to come in and see where you spend part of your day, meet the faculty, and show off your work.
Thursday October 6th this project will be “done” and needs to be high qual.
This week we will be at the 80% complete stage. Create 3 renders called:
