- Late break (by 10 minutes)
- Late English (11:10-noon)
- Is everyone more on board with Wonka next Friday? That is our backup, but I could ask that it is our primary…
- Here is what next week looks like (5 days of school before vacation):
- Monday ->Thursday – normal
- Friday – as SOON as we take attendance, we are OUT. CAWD pays for your movie tickets, but if you want concessions, you pay. We have to start the movie on time – so it may make sense to find a concessions buddy to get through the line quicker.
- When we return from the movies I will put out the rest of the food that we had for our last game day to snack on – no Tarp, don’t bring anything in, but we can munch.
- Students WILL have to go to their 7/8 classes.
- We will NOT have English
- Sadly – we have been told that the following schools are starting vacation early, and you won’t be here – but if you CAN get here for attendance you are welcome to come with us, just have to think about how to get here and back. Who is closed next Friday?
- BFA
- WHS
- MMU
- Milton (has half day and is not bussing students)

10:40 Connected Character
Check back to the Wednesday Dayplan for specifics.
Next week we WILL be doing 3 specific character animations with your … character. They will be very specific, done Tuesday (1) and Wednesday (2). Thursday we will have time after English to combine them together for presentation in January.
If your character isn’t ready to animate next week you will be behind, and you will be playing catchup, leading to increased stress. Work hard today – get your character modeled / textured / rigged and ready to animate next week! While not one of the topics – imagine if your character needed to animate the prompt of “Being scared”. You need to be able to animate your character Tuesday!

2:20 Dailies
2:25 “19 Minutes”
4 of 5 days per week we will end our day in CAWD with the “19 Minutes” of silent reading. Closing down our day with silent reading provides many benefits:
- Improve Literacy Skills / Reading Stamina
- Create space for a small reading meditation where we can disconnect from the world and get lost in a story
- Unplug
At 2:44 each day I will come to 3 students and ask for a 1 sentence explanation of what happened in your story over that day’s reading session. It is neat to hear little pockets of a story, here and there.
