Class Hours: 9:40 – 2:05
Mr. Cronin
Notes
- Everyone have a great weekend, remember to finish projects up over the weekend. The 15 minutes of time on Monday morning is not for work, it’s to organize and turn work in. Work really hard today.
- I want to honor your time with your partner today – you have the full morning around English to work on your Farm Animation and Game Level. Don’t forget that your group grade is an average of each person’s work – so making sure that both of your productions are as good as they can be makes sense. Review each others work, and review it early!
- The main CTE office let us know that the follow students have incomplete online forms. You / your family has to complete this work. Questions please email (have your family email) Mrs. Sorrell directly at tsorrell@ewsd.org
- Companion, Dylan

- … I am going to come to each of you and we are going to text / email family / guardians so we can get this sorted out. Has to be done. Don’t yell at me, I am getting yelled at myself.

2:20 Dailies
2:25 “19 Minutes”
4 of 5 days per week we will end our day in CAWD with the “19 Minutes” of silent reading. Closing down our day with silent reading provides many benefits:
- Improve Literacy Skills / Reading Stamina
- Create space for a small reading meditation where we can disconnect from the world and get lost in a story
- Unplug
At 2:44 each day I will come to 3 students and ask for a 1 sentence explanation of what happened in your story over that day’s reading session. It is neat to hear little pockets of a story, here and there.
