Class Hours: 9:40 – 2:05
Mr. Cronin
Notes
- Thursday!
- Doors open at 8am tomorrow for our Game Day. You can start chilling, and drop off systems, food, games, etc. We don’t open food until after attendance so everyone is here for it. No early-bird vultures.
- When you leave tomorrow after our Game Day everything has to be back to normal, you are taking everything with you, cleaning, and getting the room set back up as normal.
- Finally unless you clear it with your teachers you must go to your assigned 1/2 and 7/8 classes. You are required to attend class as normal, but maybe if you are caught up and you have spoken with that teacher you can be let out to come back to CAWD to chill. That is between you and your teacher.

2:20 Dailies
2:25 “19 Minutes”
4 of 5 days per week we will end our day in CAWD with the “19 Minutes” of silent reading. Closing down our day with silent reading provides many benefits:
- Improve Literacy Skills / Reading Stamina
- Create space for a small reading meditation where we can disconnect from the world and get lost in a story
- Unplug
At 2:44 each day I will come to 3 students and ask for a 1 sentence explanation of what happened in your story over that day’s reading session. It is neat to hear little pockets of a story, here and there.
