10:30 Web Design Project: CAWD Friends
(I can spell, AI decided nah. The prompt said “create a web graphic that says “CAWD Friends” – spelled correctly. I am paying $20 a month for this…?)
This week you are going to create your first web ready deliverable for up and coming new social media site – CAWD Friends.
You are going to take the learning we have been doing in Code Pen and VS Code and apply these in your first independent project.
Content Requirements:
- Create a social media profile for the “CAWD Friends” social media site. Fill with your content – class appropriate.
- Include at a minimum:
- 2 different sized headings
- use a non-default font
- increased font size
- 2 different images
- at least 1 list (ordered or unordered)
- Make it pretty – make it feel … “you“. Fill it with faux content, or real content, but make it … “look” real.
Technical Requirements:
- Valid HTML5 – test your work using the W3C validator.
- Folder called “cawdFriends” inside your weekly folder. All projects get their own folders for organization.
- “index.html” file where all your html code will go
- “style.css” folder in “css” folder next to the “index.html”. Our style rules will be written in an external document and be kept seperate from the html.
When you turn this project in you will copy your entire “cawdFriends” folder up to the drive. We will open and we will validate on the spot.
