- Today Pre tech will be coming in. Right before lunch we will prepare. This is our 3rd of 4th after lunch session with them leading up to the Holidays.

- Use a new timeline to have “lava” animate up and down over time. No need for pretty art, more for tech demo.
- The timeline will create a float track with keyframes that cause the output number to go up and down. This output (on the right hand side of the timeline, make sure to name it) will plug into the Z position for “set relative location” of the “floor”.
- Set the floor to “movable” and play the game – it should not kill you, but it should move up and down over time.
- I will create an example on the big screen.
When complete take an OBS recording and upload to the passFail folder as lastName.mp4. We will watch your work on the big screen for credit.
Once complete get into this weeks production!

Read along with Mr. Cronin. Improve literacy, word decoding, enjoy a nice story, and unplug from the world.
11:45 Pre-tech Prep
- Log out of anything important / email / 1 click Amazon purchases.
- Copy down “Friday PreTech Visit” from Public to your desktop. Get everything else off desktop.
- Have Blender Open with “Jar.blend” open on screen in rendered mode (we will do together)
- Have Unreal opened up to the most recent PreTech project that we have for them. Default level fine.
Please have this setup before you “leave” for English, everything else closed.

Every day in GAWD will end with “19 Minutes” of silent reading. Closing down our day with silent reading provides many benefits:
- Improve Literacy Skills / Reading Stamina
- Create space for a small reading meditation where we can disconnect from the world and get lost in a story
- Unplug
At the end I will 3 students and ask for a 1 sentence explanation of what happened.
