Getting to know CAWD

Computer Animation and Web Design serves high school students interested in Computer Animation, Game Design, and Web Development.

The program is designed for students interested in acquiring new media skills and entering the fast paced and rapidly changing areas of Animation, Game Design, and Web Development.

As a supporting role to our core focuses, we also cover Graphic Design, Video Production and Traditional Art as it applies to our industries.

Indicators of a student that may excel / have interest in our CAWD program:

  • Students interested in being creative with technology
  • Students that doodle on homework and love to draw
  • Students glued to cell phones
  • Students that love using the internet and want to learn how to program for it
  • Students that enjoy playing video games and want to learn how to make them
  • Students that enjoy routine and consistent transitions
