Thursday, November 20th

Thursday, November 20th

Class Hours: 10:05 – 2:40
Mr. Cronin

Notes

  • Russian AI robot looks drunk as a skunk, then falls over. Funny when thinking about “A Gentleman in Moscow” and their love of Vodka.
  • Remember that you end up in English after lunch today!
  • Today we will have Pre Tech in the 2nd of 4 visits today. Prep right before lunch.

10:05 Attendance and Article

10:10 Game Day Check in

  • Academic Expectations
  • Food / Activities / Last day to kick in cash before I go shopping tomorrow AM.
  • You are welcome to bring anything in extra, we just ask that we label anything with peanuts or cashews. And people allergic to peanuts or cashews, I would say ASSUME everything has peanuts or cashews unless you talk to that person and make sure. That is the safest best to keep yourself safe.
  • Lets check Friday’s expectations and Dayplan.

10:20 Pass / Fail

In our Week 12 driving game, demonstrate that you can turn the car into a taco. I don’t know if there is a free Taco at Turbo Squid, so you would have to find another place to download, or model yourself a quick Taco…

When complete take an OBS recording and upload to the passFail folder as lastName.mp4. We will watch your work on the big screen for credit.

Once complete get into Sky Level production!

10:50 Morning Break (10 minutes)

11:35 A Gentleman in Moscow

A Gentleman in Moscow is a reader’s dream — a wonder-full, nuanced story full of wit, insight, and imagination.

  • Improve Literacy Skills / Reading Stamina
  • Create space for a small reading meditation where we can disconnect from the world and get lost in a story
  • Unplug

At the end I will 3 students and ask for a 1 sentence explanation of what happened.
