What is your CAWD grade? Have it a 90+ for Q1 and you are still eligible for Honor Society. (Sure you have to do the same in Q2). Only YOU can control this.

9:45 Animation / Sound Design Pass Fail

Model and animate an elevator door opening and closing. Here is what the opening looks like – add the reverse as well.

Sound design with realistic sound. Use this!

Setup as 720 RENDER and SEQUENCE.

Export as “lastName.mp4” and place in “elevator” folder on the public. Once you are complete raise your hand. I will play on the big board, check you off, and you are onto your Sound Design.

“Mr. Cronin – why are you doing this to us. This is worthless. I have stuff to do.” – you, probably.

This very quick exercise will practice in rapid fire succession what we have been learning. We will have many of these this year. In the next 20 minutes you will:

Speed model a scene
Animate and setup keyframes so doors stay OPEN for a small duration – editing animation
Setup output and render
Create new sequence in Premiere
Sound Design
Export

This touches on all of our recent workflows. Doing it more will get you faster at EVERYTHING, from making a new file all the way to final export naming and upload location.

It is all part of my master plan.

If you are having issues, let’s fix them NOW, and not let those knowledge gaps get bigger each day.

If you are having zero issues, bang it out in 5 minutes and move on with life.
