Notes

  • If you can – vote today!
  • Tuesday! I won’t be here Wednesday, let’s review the Wednesday Dayplan – will be a production heavy day.
  • I won’t be able to tell you about callbacks as I won’t be here, so just be on the lookout for emails from your teachers.
  • Because I won’t be here tomorrow, we will do our Adobe AM today.
  • Micro Story packets must be turned in TODAY by the end of the day – you will find them at your keyboard tomorrow after I have graded them. Remember this is the first component of your Micro Story First Draft.

10:10 Adobe AM

Photoshop is a powerful graphics editing software developed by Adobe. It is widely used by photographers, designers, and digital artists for image editing, graphic design, and digital art creation. Photoshop provides a wide range of tools and features for tasks such as photo retouching, compositing, image manipulation, and creating digital illustrations.

We will spend the first 20 minutes of Wednesday learning Adobe’s software.

Micro Story Pre Production Packet due EOD today.

2:15 Dailies

2:20 “19 Minutes”

4 of 5 days per week we will end our day in CAWD with the “19 Minutes” of silent reading. Closing down our day with silent reading provides many benefits:

  • Improve Literacy Skills / Reading Stamina
  • Create space for a small reading meditation where we can disconnect from the world and get lost in a story
  • Unplug

At 2:39 each day I will come to 3 students and ask for a 1 sentence explanation of what happened in your story over that day’s reading session. It is neat to hear little pockets of a story, here and there.

2:40 Dismissal
