- Today is an Early Release Wednesday. More to come shortly when we look at schedules in depth tomorrow. Let’s review the Dayplan so we have an idea of what to expect.

- Born in NYC.
- Lived 99% of my life in Vermont, mostly in SB up through college. Went to SBHS.
- Is pretty anxious, likes to be early, likes to know transition times ahead of time, is a planner.
- Is better than you at OG Smash.
- Went to Farleigh Dickinson University for bachelors degree.
- Went to Champlain College for graduate degree.
- Lives in Underhill with his family.
- Has wife and kids, 2 dogs, cat, and lots of chickens.

12:10 Reviewing Dayplan / Need a book
- Silent reading to end every day starting tomorrow! You will need a book, you choose – no graphic novels for this!
- We have English class tomorrow and we will be going to the Library to get a book, or bring a book of your own, or read a book assigned in another class, we also have a selection of books in the back to pick from – lots of options.
- We will read collaboratively at the back table as a class.
- This book stays in GAWD and will live on top of our machines with our other books. (If you need to take the book back and forth for another class, or desire to read at home, that is fine – just make sure it gets back to class the next day, or you will spend the reading session with a random book.)

12:40 Blender Lego Challenge
This afternoon we are going to get a chance to use the idea of basic Lego pieces with our new Blender skills to create something. Could be something as basic as pieces put together correctly (like above) that is abstract, to something more complex and literal like a park bench or table.
The key is you have to make the lego pieces (with the pegs), join, give a material, and then manipulate following the basic rules of Lego.
We are going to start by saving our file as lego.blend into our week_01 folder. Then we can just hit ctrl+s as we work.
1:00 Afternoon Break (15 minutes)
- Use this time to go to the bathroom, have a snack in the hallway, go to the library, visit another teacher, take a walk, etc.
- Of course you can keep working. Ideally you should be moving your body!
1:15 Blender
- Cameras / what does the computer “see” – where are its eyes?
- Creating a render / an image of our 3D work.
- Saving the render to our week_01 folder as lastName.jpg.
- Uploading to the Public Drive for presentations.
Once you get the process, keep working and get the best possible render created / saved / uploaded by 1:35!
