Today is WorkKeys Wednesday.
Today is also an early release Wednesday. Callbacks:
- Maxx to Math tomorrow at 12:25
- Isaiah to Math tomorrow at 12:25
- Maxx to Science tomorrow after you take your math test at 12:25. 12:55?
Remember that I am out on Thursday and Friday – any question that you can think of regarding your individual and group work, please try to ask today if you can. If questions come up Thursday and Friday rely on each other to help.

Lion and Sebastian I have missing start of school paperwork to discuss with you, we need to reach out to parents today and tell your family to expect it coming home.
CTE Queer Alliance group will meet Wednesday from 11:35-12:00. Students that would like to participate are welcome to go, and I will send your names along for attendance. This does mean you have to make up what you miss!

Any questions? As of now you have all your CAWD work assigned. Partner time should be a priority when both in the room, and get your DH and Agency done around that.

12:30 Turning in Missing work

In CAWD I always copy down your work Monday mornings to capture that moment in time. It tells me who had what in their folder at a certain timestamp – when the work was due. There is no negotiating, the work is there, or it isn’t.

If you miss a project, there are ways you can get partial credit, and I still want to add it to your folder of work. This is the process to turn in missing work:

Create a folder on the public with your last name
Create the week folder inside that folder with the week the work was due
Upload your work to that folder with the correct fille names

So if I didn’t turn in my DH3, I would create the following folder structure on the Public.

Once you have that work on the public drive you must tell me so I know to look for your work, move it to correct folder, and grade your late work.

The key is you upload the work as you normally would for on-time grading, and tell me you have missing work turned in.

I accept late work starting on Wednesday’s of the week. Deductions for late work:

Turned in Wednesday – letter grade off
Turned in Thursday – 2 letter grades off
Turned in Friday – 3 letter grades off
4+ days late maximum grade of a 50

It is really important to stay up to date in CAWD, as our curriculum builds on itself. We just won’t be a class where you can turn in a boatload of work at the end of the quarter and expect “good things” to happen. Stay current!
