Notes
- MOVIES!
- We are leaving at 10:04:59!
- Have HAD breakfast.
- Have GONE to the bathroom.
- Have JACKET on.
- KNOW what you want to get at concessions.
- No dailies – just work -> read to end our day.
10:04:59 Attendance and we head to the movies!
- Leave bags / stuff here – you can’t leave anything on the bus as it may be a different bus that comes to pick us up!
- I will get off at the bus, go pay, and then come get you.
- When you get into the concessions line know what you want.
- Nobody sits in the back row, that is for teachers to guard you.
- Take ALL of your garbage out at the end of the movie.
- Leave no mess on the bus.
- Be nice to everyone.
- When we get back on the bus I will call out what our lunch time is based on when we arrive. Worst case you will get time to stretch your legs and move around, and then we will have our afternoon session.

2:20 “19 Minutes”
Every day in GAWD will end with “19 Minutes” of silent reading. Closing down our day with silent reading provides many benefits:
- Improve Literacy Skills / Reading Stamina
- Create space for a small reading meditation where we can disconnect from the world and get lost in a story
- Unplug
At the end I will 3 students and ask for a 1 sentence explanation of what happened.
