10:10 Skills Presentations / Game Presentations

Game Design
  1. Agent Flea (computer hooked up already, ready to present)
  2. Greywood
  3. Sightless Studios

Each team will start by showing their game commercial (turned in yesterday) and then have a 10-minute window to present.

Each team will hook up their computer to the big screen.

The rest of the class gets to watch their presentation, hear the feedback from the judge, and “see” 100% of the assessment live.

Speed Designs are 10 minute sprints in CAWD where we practice. It could be any medium – 3D, 2D, video, programming, etc.

2:20 “19 Minutes”

Every day in GAWD will end with “19 Minutes” of silent reading. Closing down our day with silent reading provides many benefits:

  • Improve Literacy Skills / Reading Stamina
  • Create space for a small reading meditation where we can disconnect from the world and get lost in a story
  • Unplug

At the end I will 3 students and ask for a 1 sentence explanation of what happened.
