Happy Birthday Melissa – in honor of your birthday I am taking the class to the movies!
Wednesday is Recognition Night! Make sure your family and friends are aware and you have off work. The event is nice, people in this room are going to earn awards, and we take our class photo at the end of the night.
10:05 Attendance and poof!
- Don’t leave anything on the bus
- Don’t eat or drink on the bus
- No back row in the theater
- Take your garbage when you are done
- Chill after the movies / read to end our day
- Listen when we get off the bus for the when our lunch will be

2:20 “19 Minutes”
Every day in GAWD will end with “19 Minutes” of silent reading. Closing down our day with silent reading provides many benefits:
- Improve Literacy Skills / Reading Stamina
- Create space for a small reading meditation where we can disconnect from the world and get lost in a story
- Unplug
At the end I will 3 students and ask for a 1 sentence explanation of what happened.
