I will already have WordPress ready to install (with the multi language screen), which is pretty much the starting line to install WordPress (once you upload the free software).
Once you have it installed you move onto our GAWD project below for the week.

This week we are going to continue our student of Web History, Copyright, and Browsers. We are going to work with a fresh installation of WordPress (practice), the 2025 theme (great support), and use AI to source information (the real world in 2026 and beyond).

12:40 1984

Nineteen Eighty-Four (1984) is a dystopian novel by George Orwell that explores totalitarianism, mass surveillance, and the manipulation of truth through the story of Winston Smith in the superstate of Oceania, ruled by the omnipresent Party and its figurehead, Big Brother.
Read along with Mr. Cronin. Improve literacy, word decoding, enjoy a nice story, and unplug from the world.
1:00 Afternoon Break (15 minutes)

1:15 Afternoon Practice & Production

Only 5 minutes as it’s Wednesday – Dailies at 1:20!
1:20 Dailies

1:25 “19 Minutes”

Every day in GAWD will end with “19 Minutes” of silent reading. Closing down our day with silent reading provides many benefits:
- Improve Literacy Skills / Reading Stamina
- Create space for a small reading meditation where we can disconnect from the world and get lost in a story
- Unplug
At the end I will 3 students and ask for a 1 sentence explanation of what happened.
1:45 Dismissal
