  • ProTip: If you are having concerns about the direction of your game, communicate with your team members about your concerns. Better to capture those issues early.

10:10 Scrum Meeting

Start with a 5 minutes Scrum Meeting (group or individual)

  • What are you working on?
  • What will you complete today?
  • What help do you need?
  • Today is an official start to your game – develop a plan in mind on what you want to do

Make and Update Trello Boards (5 minutes) as an organizational tool and / or add to the details of your Trello board. You can also use the White Board as your Trello Board – that is OK too

Question? How will you know when your game is done? Ask yourself what the bare bones deliverables are. That way you know what you are working towards.

This is a work session your team’s game studios.

Deliverables

To be successful as a team, you need to know the deliverables:

  • One Game Design Document
  • A playable game (prototype is fine)
  • A Home Screen with Game Title
    • Play Button that opens the game
    • Credits Button that opens Credits Screen (credits list roles of all team members)

Tuesday, May 20th at 11am:

  • A representative will share the story of the team
    • Process
    • Successes
    • Challenges
    • Organizational Strategies
    • Game Overview
    • Sample Gameplay

11:00 Team Production Time

Use your time until lunch to work on your contribution to project, then finish with a team scrum meeting to check in!
