Multicultural Group Announcement

Are you interested in joining the CTE Multilingual/Multicultural Affinity Group? Please contact Marina Brzostoski, CTE ML Teacher, at mbrzostoski@ewsd.org to submit a request. The group meets bi-weekly on Wednesdays in E109 ( next to the Automotive program and Engineering program) and other locations during lunch, starting Wednesday, October 11th. This group celebrates all languages and cultures and is a great place to meet some new people.

Use the sketchbook that was provided. Small note sized one. You can use any kind of pencil to do the sketchbook assignment.

Focus Question: How do I successfully transition from high school to a lifetime of learning?

One thing is for sure – you are not going to be here next year. Where will you be? What will you be doing? All of you are going to be asked this question by your parents/guardians, family members, parents friends, neighbors, people you work with. These questions will get annoying.

So, let’s start the conversation

- Where are some places you’d like to live (ex. Vermont, Portland, Maine, San Diego, CA, Colorado)

Assignment: Using the rule of thirds or the phi grid, golden ratio, capture one photo from each category. Pay close attention to Composition, proper exposure and make sure your images are in Focus! You may shoot in Automatic, Aperture Priority or Shutter Priority modes. You may shoot in RAW or jpeg. You decide. If you are not sure, let’s talk. It is perfectly ok to have questions. That’s why I am here!
