Tumultuous Tuesday – B Day

Notes

  • Welcome to Week 24
  • Week 23 “What is Due” is up –
  • Finish Computer updates (see yesterday notes for details)
  • AB 7/8 EHS begins at 12:05 Today and ends at 1:15pm
  • EHS will be hosting a Black Lives Matter flag raising ceremony beginning at 1:25 , any EHS student may attend, just let me know – you will be released at 1:15pm
  • EHS is hosting a “Winter Carnival” on Friday beginning at 1:15, if you plan to attend you need to sign up with EHS main office
  • Friday – Milton CTE students will be picked up at 12:30 to participate in class olympics
  • Game Day – Thursday
  • Student Council meets Thursday at Noon
  • PE today (Ahmed) leaving at NOON, 12:00 (You’re going bowling!)

Class meets in room m117 at 11am. Go to class immediately from break. When class is over, you will head to lunch.

12:45 – 2:05 Character Animation Project (cont.. )

This week we’ll take Homer Simpson (from last Friday’s exercise) and create a short animation. You do not have to rig the whole body, optional to do so. Manage your time well

What to Do (Day 2)

  • Finish your modeling of Homer
  • Add materials
  • Develop any assets that you might need
  • Play around with lighting options
    • What you don’t know, investigate
  • Begin adding armatures (We’ll practice this on Wednesday so don’t worry too much about it yet)
  • DUE TODAY – Screenshot of your Homer with materials and your mis en scene (your staging)

B Day Student Project (same, just a day off)

What to Do (Day 1/2)

  • Listen to the 2 audio clips of Homer Simpson
  • You may mix/match and cut up the clips as you see fit
  • Develop an image of this scene in your mind – then….
  • Storyboard your scene – What will your camera see?
    • Include details in you storyboard to illustrate the animation
  • Finish your model of Homer from the 2D image from last week(Friday)
  • Add materials
  • Develop any assets that you might need
  • Play around with lighting optionsWhat you don’t know, investigate
  • Begin adding armatures (We’ll practice this on Wednesday so don’t worry too much about it yet)
  • DUE TODAY – Screenshot of your Homer with materials and your mis en scene (your staging)
    DUE TODAY – STORYBOARD at end of class (this will be our Dailies). If you can do more today
