Turning in Late Work in CAWD

Turning in Late Work in CAWD

Class hours: 9:40 – 2:05
Mr. Cronin
Mr. Bohmann

Late Work in Cawd receives a letter grade off per day.

After 1 week of being late the work has a maximum grade of a 50.

Either of these two scenarios are better than a “0” in your gradebook as we know that 0’s really drag down averages.

Step 1:

Upload the work as normal.  Ensure file names, asset counts, file types, etc.

Step 2:

Send email to Mr. Cronin (mcronin@ewsd.org) that has a subject of “LATE WORK“.  All caps, with space. I have a filter on the back end which picks up specific late work submissions and alerts me that you have missing work to grade.

The body of the email must include:

  • Greeting
  • Specific message outlining the name of the project, and where it is.
  • Closing
  • Presented in a business professional manner with correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar.

If the subject, or any part of the email isn’t up to the Cawd standard, I return the email to you and you do it again.  This could cost you an additional letter grade penalty if you don’t check your email until the next day.

Example Acceptable Email:

Dear Mr. Cronin,

I have uploaded my Farm Project to my Week 2 folder on the webserver for grading.

Thank you,

Steve Austin

As always, questions let me know.
